MTN2SEA Snapback Foamy Trucker Hat

Through my friend Jeff’s awesome podcast called “Midlifesurfer”, I learned about the amazing work that Brian King was doing with local teens here in the Monterey Bay area through his non profit called “MTNS2SEA”. Having worked with teenagers myself for the last 15 years, I know that the teenage years are a critical period of development and they need as much positive guidance as they can possibly receive during this time.  I also know how important the outdoor space was for me in my own development as a teen. It was where I could ground myself and meditate my way through the trials and tribulations of becoming an adult. During this period in our life where everyone, and more so teens, are connected to their devices …. Being outdoors and experiencing nature has become even more important. When I learned that Brian was taking teens from rougher circumstances into the natural world and teaching them practical life skills, I knew how important the work he is doing was, and wanted to help.

We originally launched a tee with this design where all of the profits went to MTNS2SEA. For the headware with this design, we are giving a dollar back to them for every hat or beanie sold. We hope to keep this hat in our line for years to come and continue to support them with the sale of each hat. We know this support is minimal in the bigger picture of things, but we hope to be able to cover a few outings for these kids. It is also our desire to do more collaborations like this in the future with other non- profits as we grow our small family brand.
