Ecommerce Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities: Ecommerce Coordinator

Beyond the responsibilities of the Retail Specialist and Brand Ambassador mentioned above, the Ecommerce Coordinator is someone who will manage vendor the website. Responsibilities include:

  • Improving our online presence overall including
    • product photography
    • Product descriptions
    • Usability of website
  • With the help of Traveler’s templates, design and draft bi-monthly newsletter blasts via Shopify Email
  • Schedule Instagram posts via Later app
  • Create visual content digital flyers and social media via Canva. 
  • Ensure all products on the website fit Traveler’s product template 
  • Surf Experience Required: Beginner-Intermediate

Retail Sales Specialist- Included in all key roles
Customer service and retail sales is a large part of any key role at Traveler. Knowing the merchandise and Club services offered along with how to communicate with in-store customers is essential. Below is a list of key core responsibilities of any Traveler Team Member.

  • Opening & closing store
  • Having detailed knowledge of all Traveler products and services
  • Being great at answering customer questions and guiding them to make the right purchase choices
  • Excellence in exchanges and returns 
  • Organizing merchandise on sales floor and back stock room
  • Tagging & managing inventory
  • Online store fulfillment

Brand Ambassador- Included in all key roles
Being a brand ambassador who contributes to the visual and creative narrative of Traveler Pacifica is also a key part of Team Member responsibilities. This includes:

  • Collecting images, video or creative ideas for instagram stories and posts 1x / week to be uploaded into Later media folder platform i.e. :
    • Surf-check videos
    • Images or video of new product when it arrives
    • Images or videos of surf club members or guests enjoying the club space
    • Images or videos of local landscapes 

Additional General Manager Responsibilities
Any of the 3 Key roles may take on additional GM responsibilities as schedules permit. We will be looking to include GM responsibilities with any applicant for a Key role who can also commit to an additional 10-20 hours per week.

GM responsibilities include:

  • Staff Scheduling
  • Bank Deposit Drops
  • Ordering Store Supplies
  • Liaison to Property Manager
