Pillar Point Bluff Trail ~ You can make this hike a short adventure to catch some nice views or a sunset. If you're feeling a longer hike you can continue it along the bluffs. From Pillar Point parking lot you can catch the bluff trail near the south end of the Air Force base which has views of Half Moon Bay and the world famous Mavericks surf break. Also from Pillar Point parking lot, there is a nice ½ mile trail which leads to the beach under Pillar Point itself and at low tide you can take a long stroll along the beach.
