What to Expect: In this surf coaching session we'll meet early morning in Malibu and start off with a discussion of goals and areas to work on. We'll review etiquette, water safety, reading waves, and timing.
Then you'll suit up, assess the best equipment for your skill level and wave conditions, and get in the water for about 1-1.5 hours depending on waves and weather.

Who this is for: This Session is open to surfers who have achieved some level independence in the water, but who want to improve, or gain experience navigating the waves at a world-class surf break!
About our Coaches All of our coaches have deep knowledge and experience surfing at Malibu. Collectively we have over 100 years of surfing at first point and our coaches understand the challenges of this world-class break. Our goal is to guide clients in a way that offers an understanding of how to navigate the etiquette and complexity of the Malibu lineup.
Our coaches have competed at both professional and amateur levels and have surfed all over the world, but each calls Malibu their home break. With patience and a life-long passion for surfing, our team is encouraging of clients and we love what we do!
Available for 1 or 2 participants per session. 2 hour session.

Cancellation Policy: Out of respect for our instructors, Traveler must receive a cancellation notice a minimum 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time for customers to receive a full refund. For example if you book a lesson for 10am on Tuesday, we require cancellation before 10am on Sunday. If Traveler does not receive a cancellation notice within 48 hours of the booked appointment, there will be a $100 charge per customer and the lesson will be forfeited. No-shows on day of scheduled lesson and call ins to cancel on day of scheduled lesson will be charged the full price and forfeit their lesson and payment due to lack providing proper cancellation or rescheduling notice.
Weather and swell conditions:. Traveler Surf Club puts safety first. If Traveler Surf Club cancels due to weather or swell conditions, customer will be notified and lesson will either be rescheduled or refunded.
Reschedule Policy - You may reschedule your lesson one time with a minimum 48 hours notice prior to schedule lesson time. For example, if your lesson is scheduled for Tuesday at 10am and you would like to reschedule, you must notify us before Sunday at 10am. No more than one rescheduling is permitted.Sign up and save
